    Larry,

    Thank you for this excerpt. I needed to triple check that I knew that for my purposes, snapshot was what I wanted.

    However, before I found your video, AI’s answer on Yahoo was, “Duplicating a timeline is generally the best option in Final Cut Pro. This allows for more flexibility and control over edits without affecting the original timeline.”

    This seemed like the opposite of what I remembered you saying. I felt sure you had said snapshot was better if you didn’t want any changes within the different versions I might create. Thanks for the confirmation!

      You are correct, the AI is wrong. Which is another good example not to trust something just because it is generated by AI.

      Especially when detailed knowledge is required.
