You mentioned that an xml is always the way to move a project from Premiere to another NLE. What about AAF from Premiere to Resolve? Any idea which export format is best from Premiere to Redolve?

This is a really good question. XML does not include media, AAF, generally, does. I have not tested AAF, so I don’t have personal experience. However, if you are sending files to different locations, my GUESS is that AAF would be a better choice. But, again, I haven’t tested this.
