Last Friday, Apple released a new bundle of applications specifically targeted at educators and students. Called the “Pro Apps Bundle for Education,” it includes:
While most of us know Final Cut, Motion and Compressor, Logic Pro X is an advanced music production application that gives you everything you need to create amazing music. Offering a massive library of sounds and innovative features like Drummer, Flex Pitch, Smart Controls, and MIDI plug-ins, Logic Pro X makes it easy to compose, record, edit, and mix professional-quality tracks.
Main Stage, in case you are interested, is a live performance app that lets you take any sound from Logic Pro X to the concert stage. Build your set list using keyboard, guitar, and vocal effects that you can easily switch between. And perform with a huge variety of sounds using your favorite hardware controller.
The retail price for all five applications is $629.95. The bundle price is $199 for qualified students and educators. After you purchase the bundle, Apple will send codes that can be redeemed on the Mac App Store.

Apparently Apple are releasing it in all countries with an education store very soon but it has not yet been announced precisely when it will come to the UK but it will.
