I appreciate your expertise and considering you important part of the Final Cut Pro world. I have question related to incorporating graphics in the video. I have project where I am combining Power Point Presentation with DV video. The way I exported PPT in mov file and I am cutting it into the video file. The PPt slides deteriorated tremendously when included on the time line. Is there any way to compensate for the loss of quality? Maybe you can give me a reference pointing toward right answer.
Larry replies: The key is to create and design your PowerPoint slides to match, as closely as possible, the image size of video. For example, with SD, create them at 800 x 600.
There will still be a loss in quality, because video is lower in resolution than your computer, but this will minimize it.
One Response to Working With Powerpoint Slides In Video
I have just got Final Cut Pro X and I need to put some powerpoint slides into an edit.
I am a novice at this.
Can you explain in easy to understand basic English the steps what I need to do.
Thanks
