Emerson asks:
I had this “render error: insufficient disk space” message. My question is it possible to increase the render space in the hard disk? I`m editing a project from my machine to other machine in the network (where the project was created) and where all the stuff are stored (media, project, scratch disk etc…) and my scratch disk leads to this network computer…I’ve already erased all the stuff from Render Manager but I still have the same message “render error: insufficient disk space”…Do you know why?
Larry replies: Yes, you just need to create more free space on your hard disk by deleting files you don’t need.
The amount of required free space is determined by Final Cut Pro > System Settings > General tab — the Minimum Free Space setting. Make sure it is NOT less than 2500. My general recommendation is 10000.
