With over 3,035 in-depth tutorials available on my website, it can be tricky to find the one you want. Most often, folks find tutorials on my website using web search engines.
However, there is a powerful search engine built into my website that can help you find exactly the information you want faster than using Google. This is especially helpful when you want to review more than one tutorial on the same subject at a time.
Here’s how to use my built-in search engine.
Start by visiting my tutorial home page: https://larryjordan.com/free-tutorials/
At the top are three search options:
OPTION 1 – APPLICATION-SPECIFIC CONTENT
Click the Applications menu to filter all tutorials to specific software, hardware-only, or the macOS.

OPTION 2 – TASK-SPECIFIC CONTENT
Click the Categories menu to filter all tutorials to a specific subject. I’ve written a lot of tutorials about the same subject, for example, Editing, Color grading, or Audio.
A particularly useful category is Product Review. This displays all the reviews I’ve created over the years. Other in-depth categories include: Efficiency, Color, and Business.
OPTION 3 – TEXT-BASED CONTENT
The third search option is to enter a short snippet of text in the Search text box to look for something that isn’t covered in one of the first two options. This searches all text in the title and body of a tutorial. For example, type “Performance” to see tutorials on how to improve the speed of your system.
OPTION 4 – ARCHIVED RESOURCES
