Reuben:
You’ll find Draw Mask in the Mask category in Final Cut’s Effects Browser.

Hi Larry, I am having difficulty activating the draw mask controls on a clip to edit an existing mask. Sometimes randomly the control points appear but I cannot find a way to make them appear. I highlighted the draw mask in the inspector (with the clip selected) and also tried highlighting the transform tool but still no luck. I’m thinking there has to be a way to do this?

This sounds like your computer could use some maintenance. Contact Apple support and see what they advise.

Thanks Larry. I found a way to do it at last. I needed to click on Shape Type in the Draw Mask Inspector before the control points would show up.
