When it comes to persistence, Chris Force has few rivals. Chris works for a company called Home Movie Depot (www.homemoviedepot.com).
According to Chris:
Based in Ashland, Missouri (Servicing the US) with a location in Xalapa, Veracruz, (Servicing Mexico) we are the largest on-line provider of digitization of analog media services. We work with 8mm, Super8, 16mm, camcorder, VHS, betamax, and still images; both positives and negatives. We turn orders around in about 5 business days.
- We recently started an affiliate program marketing to videographers and retail photography stores across North America. In less than one year we have signed 100s (soon to be 1,000s) of retail outlets across North America.
- With our tens of thousands of customers and hundred’s of affiliates, editing is a real issue.
- We currently offer digital transfers to hard drives. Many of our clients edit using Final Cut Pro.
Home Movie Depot recently exhibited at PMA this past year, which is where I met them, and do tons of work with professionals across the country.
