A client contacted me recently about problems they were having in getting DVCPROHD to export to an HDV QuickTime movie. (They were archiving their DVCPROHD video on HDV tape, because they couldn’t afford a DVCPROHD deck.)
After some experimenting, here is the process we came up with:
All selected sequences will be compressed using these settings. To start the export process, click the Export button in the lower center of this dialog box.
Files will take about theree-and-a-half times longer than real-time to export.
