Over the last four months, we’ve been planning and building a new, state-of-the-art audio and video studio specifically designed for live webcasting.
In this short video, host Larry Jordan takes you on a tour of the new facility and showcases the gear we installed.
(By the way, it arrived too late to put into this video, but we’ve also added the new TalkShow Skype box from NewTek and will be using it on the Digital Production Buzz webcast each week.)
TRT: 4:44 — MPEG-4 HD movie
NOTE: This video may not play inside FireFox, if so, please use a different browser.
Our website offers lots more video training available in our store.

Hi Larry,
I’m green with envy! Great Studio.
Just a couple of things – It might just be my 27″ iMac but the video is incredibly dark, looks a bit like it was lit with candle light and there is some severe audio distortion, sounds like camera handling noise as you walk down the corridor at 00.37 secs in.
As I say the problem could be at my end but I thought I’d point it out.
Best regards,
Mark
Mark:
The video is dark, but not incredibly dark. Next time I’ll use more light.
And, you are correct. When I’m standing in the kitchen or walking down the hall, we were on a wireless mic. The problem is that we were getting RF interference on the wireless, which is why I converted to wired for the rest of the narration.
We couldn’t do the walk on a wire, and we didn’t notice the problems in the kitchen until we got into editing. So we decided to leave it in. We are looking at our wireless gear to see if we can find a frequency that isn’t in use around here.

Very nice, Larry. Thanks for sharing!
Fabulous Larry! I think I need one of these!!
The lighting of the video reminds me somewhat of Law & Order SVU. I’m not really familiar with most of the equipment you’re using but as a customer I appreciate your investment in your business and I look forward to the new Larry.
Thank you for what you do!

Congratulations, Larry! From one proud parent to another, I thought you might like to see our own office/studio tour when you get a chance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ6-qumSgWQ. Can’t wait to see what you produce out of your new facilities.
Congratulations Larry! Fabulous studio, great tour! Love the products you are already creating. this will be a very good year!

Richard, impressive foundation for your studio! Should it be the Lord’s will may your new facility be blessed.
Larry, maybe you need to run a studio competition? These folks have a pretty nice place in the works.
Larry, you must be very proud of what you have accomplished here. Congratulations to you and your team.
I like the camera moves sweeping over the audio and lighting boards. Did you use a steady cam type of device,
rail dolly system or a post effect?
All the best
Richard
Richard:
They were the very talented arms of Megan Paulos, with the video slowed about 50% in post.

Hey,
It certainly doesn’t look like your old home-style production facility. This must be in your basement. 😉
But seriously, this is an impressive facility and I hope your can expand your endeavors. Best Wishes!

(smile…) Actually, the basement was already filled with electric trains…. Needed to find somewhere else.
