Are you as intimidated by Fusion as I am?

• Yes, Fusion is ridiculously intimidating.
• Yes, Fusion does not create effects like any other NLE.
• Yes, the DaVinci Resolve Fusion manual is maddeningly opaque.

But, hey, don’t let that hold you back.

While Fusion can do lots of amazing things, it also has a learning curve that goes straight up. Still, there’s hope. Because the MAIN reason most editors will benefit from Fusion is to create custom text titles.

In this session, Larry Jordan – who is ABSOLUTELY NOT any kind of an artist – shows how to create simple, yet effective text effects using Fusion. For example:

• The Fusion interface. Yes, it is even weirder than you suspect.
• Nodes and Node trees. The heart of Fusion.
• How to wire a node tree to create a very simple effect.
• How to create a text effect.
• How to animate a text effect.
