FCP X: Syncing Multicam Clips

Posted on by Larry

One of the great new features with multicam clips in Final Cut Pro X is how easy it is to add and sync new angles into an existing multicam master.

You use the Angle Editor to add, sync, modify, reorganize, and remove clips. In this short video tutorial, I show you two different ways to sync a newly-added clip: automatically, using audio waveforms, or manually, referencing the monitor angle.

This is a feature that doesn’t exist in FCP 7 and is both powerful and easy to use, once you know how. Here’s a short three-minute video tutorial that shows you what you need to know.

NOTEThis is an excerpt from a recent webinar on Multicam Editing in FCP X. You can buy the complete webinar now and download it from our store or, for only $5.00 more, get all my training via my new subscription membership.
