$9.99

Double-system sound means recording the video on one device (a camera) while recording the audio on a separate device (a digital audio recorder). The benefits to double-system recording are the potential for much higher audio quality, coupled to a wider selection of cameras. The disadvantage is getting all these files synced for editing.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION

Double-system sound means recording the video on one device (a camera) while recording the audio on a separate device (a digital audio recorder). The benefits to double-system recording are the potential for much higher audio quality, coupled to a wider selection of cameras.

The disadvantage is getting all these files synced for editing.

In this video training, host Larry Jordan shows how to sync double-system media using Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Red Giant PluralEyes and Intelligent Assistance Sync N Link. He provides a variety of techniques that can automatically sync clips, or, if necessary, manually sync them. Along the way, he illustrates the audio benefits to improving your sound, and discuss how to fix sync problems, should they occur.

AUDIENCE LEVEL

This intermediate-level webinar is designed for any Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X editor who wants to learn how to sync double-system sound, or is looking for ways to sync files faster. (This video training plays as a QuickTime movie. You don’t need to own any other software to watch this training.)
