DESCRIPTION

We continue our “Conversations on Craft” by looking at screen-writing. The goal of today’s presentation is to help you create scripts that you can successfully sell. So, this week, we showcase three recent Digital Production Buzz interviews with experts looking at screen-writing:

  • Lee Jessup

Pilar Alessandra is the director of the popular writing program “On The Page” and author of “The Coffee Break Screenwriter.” A sought-after teacher and lecturer, she’s traveled the world teaching screenwriting, pitching and story analysis. As a consultant, Pilar has helped thousands of writers create, refine and sell their scripts and was named “Cream of the Crop” in Creative Screenwriting’s Script Consultant Survey. She shares her thoughts on what it takes to write a successful, sellable script.

Danny Manus is the CEO of “No Bull Script Consulting.” He is also an in-demand script consultant and author of the book: “No B.S. for Screenwriters: Advice from the Executive Perspective.” He shares his thoughts on how to maximize a script to attract the attention of a development executive.

Lee Jessup is a career coach for screenwriters, specializing in guiding emerging and professional scribes toward successful screenwriting careers. Her coaching clients include Golden-Globe and Emmy nominees, best selling authors, WGA members, and writers just starting out.
