TRAINING DESCRIPTION

If you are new to Adobe Audition CS6, we recommend you watch Webinar 69: Editing Audio in Adobe Audition CS6 first. This explains the interface, customization, and basic audio editing tools.

It is a truism in media that the best way to improve your picture is to improve the quality of your audio. But how? In this session, we will use Adobe Audition CS6 to examine the process of mixing – combining all the different audio elements in your project so that the audience hears what you want them to hear and doesn’t hear what you don’t want them to hear.

Watch as master trainer Larry Jordan shows you how to set levels on clips and tracks, automate levels using keyframes, create sends and busses to simplify effects creation, and apply a variety of filters to solve problems, enhance the sound, and even out levels.

In this video tutorial, you will learn:

  • How to send a project from Premiere Pro CS6, or Final Cut Pro 7 or X, to Audition
  • How to prep audio clips for mixing
  • How to apply filters
  • How to change levels
  • How to create sub-mixes and stems
  • How to create a final audio mix
  • How to test the final audio mix for appropriate levels
  • How to send the mix back to Adobe Premiere Pro
  • And much more

AUDIENCE LEVEL

This webinar is an intermediate-level course that builds on basic audio editing skills. This session assumes all project audio is edited, and now you want to add sound effects, filters, adjust levels and create the final mix. (You don’t need to own any of this software to watch this training.)

BONUS FEATURE!
