    Thanks for this great summary, Larry! Do the latest versions of FCP take into account slight differences in clock speed between the video and audio? This has been a problem when recording longer clips (> 10 min or so).

      Mark:

      I’ve noticed drift when the sample rate is 44.1K, but haven’t noticed drift over time – but most of my double-system work tends to be shorter takes.
