Adobe Announces Adobe Premiere 26.2
Yesterday, Adobe announced the latest version of Premiere (26.2). Here are the highlights.
- Premiere now includes a new set of Film Impact–powered effects and transitions, including Channel Blur, Gradient, and Noise effects, along with dynamic 3D Spinback and Slide transitions for enhanced compositing, texture, and motion design.
- Object mask edges can now be refined with new edge quality controls. Choose between Sharp and Smooth modes to better match your subject and footage.
- The source monitor now displays audio waveforms at the same time as video playback.
- Use the new Sequence Index to view and navigate complex sequences easily using a searchable, spreadsheet-style layout.
- Premiere now uses improved path tracking and search logic to automatically locate and reconnect offline media, even across drives and platforms.
- Mute all audio in your sequence at once with Global Mute, without affecting clip or track settings.
- Quickly locate markers with enhanced search using names, comments, or colors, and jump directly to their position in your clip or sequence.
- Use Export Settings to apply Content Credentials to your exported videos, including details like linked social media accounts and generative AI usage preferences.
Here’s the link for details on all these features.
