Whether the effect is as simple as a still frame, or a complex variable speed change during playback, changing the speed of a clip is a powerful visual effect guaranteed to catch the eye of the viewer and add "punch" to a scene.

In this short video tutorial, watch as Larry Jordan shows how to create high-quality slow motion by conforming the speed of a clip to match the frame rate of your project. Most commonly, this is done by shooting video at a high frame rate, then playing it back in the sequence at a slower frame rate.

This tutorial shows how this works.
