COURSE DESCRIPTION

Multicam shooting records an event using multiple cameras. Multicam editing allows us to see all those images at the same time as we edit the show. This allows us to quickly compare shots and pick the best one for our story. Hosted by Larry Jordan, this session covers:

This session is designed to enable you to successfully create, edit and modify multicam clips inside Apple Final Cut Pro X.

In this short video excerpt, Larry Jordan shows how to work with multichannel audio within a multicam clip.

Hello! Tell us, please, is there any way to modify several multicam clips at once? I need to change the resolution for a thousand multicam clips, but the Modify button in the inspector is greyed out when more than one multicam is selected.

      Serj:

None that I know of. However, if you need to make the resolution smaller, that would be faster to do on export of the master file. If you need to make the resolution larger, hmmm…., I don’t know anyway to do that to groups of multicam clips.

However, before you give up, contact Apple Support and see what they say.
