
If production gear had a home, it would be at Cine Gear Expo. This year, there were more than 200 exhibitors at the LA show which ran from Friday to Saturday, June 5-6, 2026. Here’s what was announced and when.

(06/03/2026) Atomos announces the Sumo Pro-19, a 19″ 4K monitor-recorder-switcher. With built in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for remote collaboration you can upload directly to camera to cloud platforms like ATOMOSphere, Frame.io, Dropbox, and more. Transmit or receive high quality NDI HX3 video over IP streams. With AirGlu wireless timecode you can sync multiple cameras and devices frame-accurately over Bluetooth or RF.
Blackmagic Design – Booth: S-1606
(06/03/2026) Blackmagic Design today released DaVinci Resolve 21. DaVinci Resolve 21 is a significant update introducing hundreds of features including new AI tools like IntelliSearch for fast content searching, CineFocus for focal point adjustment and tools for facial refinement. The Krokodove toolset adds over 70 new graphics to Fusion, Fairlight folders simplify audio track management, plus there are improvements to keyframing, MultiMaster trim passes, layer list node graphs and more.
Blackmagic Design – Booth: S-1606
(06/03/2026) Today, Blackmagic Design released Fusion Studio 21. This version includes support for Krokodove motion graphics effects, over 70 new motion graphics effects and tools, new Macro Editor with inspector view and publishing to macro, native support for OGraf HTML graphics and Lottie animations, Text+ and MultiText support spell checkingm, font improvements include emoji, color fonts, and more.
Blackmagic Design – Booth: S-1606
(06/03/2026) Today, Blackmagic Design announced Blackmagic Camera 10.2. This free update adds support for phase detect autofocus to Blackmagic PYXIS 6K and support for Blackmagic Cloud stream routing with PYXIS 6K. This lets you route a live stream from the camera directly into your studio, or stream to multiple platforms at the same time using Blackmagic Cloud.
Chroma-Q – Booth: S-1707
(05/25/2026) At Cine Gear Expo, Chroma-Q will introduce the IP65 Color Force 3. Designed for cycs, floods and color washes, Color Force 3 delivers more than twice the output of Color Force II with a richer, more vibrant color palette. Designed and manufactured in North America.

(05/26/2026) At Cine Gear Expo, Flanders Scientific will introduce the XMP270C, a new compact 26.5-inch UHD QD-OLED reference monitor designed to deliver the same industry-leading image fidelity and color accuracy of the popular XMP270 in a smaller, lighter, and more installation-friendly form factor. The XMP270C features a 3840×2160 10-bit QD-OLED panel capable of 1000 nits peak luminance with an approximately 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and extremely wide viewing angles.

NANLUX/NANLITE – Booth: S-3011
(06/03/2026) At CineGear, NANLUX/NANLITE will showcase the PavoSlim 360C. Measuring 4′ × 2′, this expanded surface delivers smooth, even illumination, whether used as a key, overhead, or ambient light. Despite its large size, the PavoSlim 360C maintains the series’ ultra-slim design, measuring just 1.96 cm / 0.77 in thick, making it convenient and efficient to install, conceal, or move the fixture. A pair of PavoSlim 360C fixtures can be combined into a 4′ × 4′ sized source with the optional Dual-Panel Coupler (AS-DPC-PS360), providing broader coverage and an even larger soft-light surface.
NANLUX/NANLITE – Booth: S-3011
(05/25/2026) At Cine Gear Expo, NANLUX/NANLITE will showcase their Evoke 5C. This tiny light delivers 2,026 lux of pro-level light shaping and precision with full-color output, yet measures just 5.6×4.4×4.5 cm (2.2 × 1.73 × 1.77 in) and weighs a mere 160g (5.64 oz). (05/26/2026) At Cine Gear Expo, Pipe Lighting will launch PixelMat. Developed as a fast-deploy softbox system, PixelMat combines high-output RGBWW light with an ultra-thin, flexible form factor. Unlike traditional panels or rigid frames, it can be integrated directly into the set – mounted to ceilings, wrapped around structures, or used inside frames, allowing cinematographers to shape light in spaces where conventional fixtures cannot be used.

(06/05/2026) At Cine Gear, Zeiss introduced the Horizon Anamorphic series, a new lineup of full frame 2x anamorphic cinema lenses designed to deliver a distinctive cinematic look along with a new lens technology platform that brings the speed and precision demanded by contemporary production workflows.
